But the water will fall right back into the bowl...

High speed photography. One second shutter speed with a flash in a dark room. Freezes the image when the flash goes off.
This was the first photo of about eighty of them. Got it the best on the first try :)

Black coffee does me wonders, but I don't have it that often, just when I really need a pick me up.

Lovely shot, I like that you captured this on the first go, sometimes that's the way, you get a really great first shot, and then you try to get something more, and you can't improve!

This is very cool! I totally understand about taking 80 photos to get one right.
Great work! Liquid in the bowl looks like fire and the moving liquid like very cold water.

The color of the water is due to me putting a red piece of construction paper in there to muffle the sound of metal objects hitting the glass. It was late at night, didn't want to wake anyone

I may not be the one putting them in the year book. They are all in a big communal folder and we pick the ones we want to put int ourselves... You will have to talk to every member of the year book and many of the will just ignore you...

I am working on the art page and my team page... so if you want to have a photo of yours in the year book just email them to me and i may just put in it :)

Haha that sounds like quite the interesting selection process. I can picture them now, "OH he looks horrible in that one! Let's put it in!" Just kidding. [:

Ah hah, sounds like an interesting idea. Might take you up on that.

Dropping an object into a jug of water from above. Had the Camera on a tripod and used open flash, asking my partner to press the autumn on the Camera.
