The artist takes an unique approach to a theme common for the modern woman. While being unique always has its risks, this work avoids that by staying clean and well executed. The edges of the image are well engaged, and the close cropping maintains a simple, clean message. The artist directly engages one of the influences and causes of the image problems women have, childhood toys. In this case, that is Barbie. By placing a Barbie shoe next to a foot, the deviant draws a direct link between the message and the relationship of the two.
A potential weak point between the message and the image is the fact that the size difference in feet does not directly correlate to obesity. However, the relationship between the two does create the strongest image from all the potential comparisons to be drawn. By cropping the human foot partially off the page, the deviant also successfully portrays the impression that the foot is "fat".
